Integrations Specialist

We are looking for an Integrations Specialist to help us achieve our ambitions.

The Integration Specialist will play a key role in coordinating and supporting pawaPay’s platform integrations with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Money Transfer Operators (MTOs), Neobanks, Aggregators, and other mobile money services.

This role involves overseeing the integration timeline, maintaining tools and documentation, and facilitating collaboration among internal and external teams. Strong project coordination skills are essential, along with the ability to support technical discussions and implementation with partners. Technical understanding is a plus, as the Integration Specialist will support partner interactions and track solution implementation to ensure smooth operations aligned with pawaPay’s standards.

The role is open to candidates from any location in Sub-Saharan Africa.

What is the role?

  • Support integration projects from start to finish by gathering requirements, coordinating resources, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Support for API-related queries, supporting Engineering and Support teams in resolving any integration-related issues with partners
  • Maintain accurate integration plans, schedules, and technical documentation to ensure efficient knowledge transfer, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of API integrations with all partners
  • Work closely with Onboarding Managers, Account Managers, and other stakeholders to share updates, address concerns, and anticipate potential obstacles
  • Liaise with partners and other third parties to align on timelines, deliverables, and integration requirements to support effective solution rollouts
  • Develop a working knowledge of pawaPay’s products and how they connect with partner APIs to ensure effective support for mobile money transactions.

You are a perfect fit if you have

  • At least 2-3 years in project coordination, support, or related roles within B2B SaaS or financial services environments
  • Proven ability to manage timelines, track multiple projects, and ensure timely completion of integration-related tasks
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Success) to facilitate project progression and issue resolution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and coordinate across technical and non-technical teams and effectively engage with external partners
  • Skilled in maintaining up-to-date technical documentation, project schedules, and integration plans
  • Ability to analyze project performance and troubleshoot with a systematic approach
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or ClickUp is beneficial
  • Fluency in French (spoken and written) is an added advantage
  • Basic understanding of API integrations (REST, SOAP) and experience working with mobile transaction platforms is a plus.
